What’s the Best Way to Lift Sagging Breasts?

Breasts are a universal symbol of a woman’s femininity and self-identity. When time, age, gravity, or pregnancy alter the appearance of the breasts, it can cause insecurity and anxiety. At Rodeo Surgical Art, we don’t want anyone to live with breasts they’re unhappy with. Let us help you lift and shape your breasts for the proportions and appearance you’ve always wanted. You deserve to look and feel good.

Breast Lift Beverly Hills

What is a Breast Lift?

A breast lift, also known as a Mastopexy, restores drooping breasts to a higher position while removing stretched, lax skin. In some cases, implants can be inserted and the nipple can be repositioned for a more attractive shape and size. Whether your concern is drooping breasts, downward pointing nipples, or breasts that have flattened and could use a boost of volume, a breast lift may be the procedure you need to restore a youthful, feminine chest profile. Dr. David Mashhadian customizes each patient’s procedure to address your specific needs and goals for the best possible outcome. There is no rushed, overbooked, or cookie cutter procedure at Rodeo Surgical Art.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Breast Lift?

Have your breasts succumbed to gravity or flattened after breastfeeding? Do your nipples point down rather than forward? Has your confidence taken a hit because of the shape and position of your breasts? Dr. Mashhadian and Rodeo Surgical Art can help you, beginning with a comprehensive consultation.

What’s a Mastopexy Procedure Like?

Each breast lift is unique to the individual patient, so your procedure will consist of a treatment plan designed to correct your specific concerns. Dr. Mashhadian’s proprietary surgical techniques are designed to minimize trauma to your tissues so there’s as little bruising and swelling as possible to speed your recovery. If implants are part of your procedure, he’ll use the Keller funnel to reduce incision size in the placement of your implants. Different types of incisions and techniques will address different variants of breast concerns. It’s all very personalized, and Dr. Mashhadian will work with you every step of the way, so you know exactly how your procedure will improve the shape and placement of your breasts.

What Results Will I See With a Breast Lift?

Breast lifts (with or without augmentation) do result in some bruising and swelling, so you may not be able to determine your final outcome right away. However, as the swelling subsides, your breasts will be perkier, more shapely, and in a more youthful, upright position than before. If you’ve received implants, the greater fullness will be obvious right away, but it may be weeks until they fully settle. Breast lift results are often lifelong, with one procedure correcting the problem. Implants may require future procedures, as many implants need adjustment after 10 years. Your incisions are made to minimize scarring, and those scars will fade over time. Keeping active and eating a healthy diet will increase the longevity of your breast lift results, so you can enjoy your profile and proportions for years to come.

Your comfort with your breasts may be a big piece of your overall happiness. Being self-conscious of your silhouette and proportions isn’t something you have to live with. At Rodeo Surgical Art, we understand your breasts aren’t all there is to you, but they can and do contribute to your sense of self and how you feel. A breast lift could be just the lift you need.
